Borgen / The Fortress

Black and white on white background. Thought it worked better for these photos. We'll see if I'll use it for any albums to come or not.

About

Fresh pic of me in action by friend Su-Chin and added the link to Rosa Kattens ruinromantiska expeditioner, something which should have been done long ago.

KVS Sanatorium

First album up in quite a while and the first medium format one ever. Since I've mostly shot medium format analog over the last year there's more to come. Sooner or later.

The Brick Mill online and all flashy

After some looking around I finally came across a simple, no bull, flash slideshow app. My first serious attempt with it can be seen in this album overview. More to come!

Jordberga Sugar Mill online

The main part of the Jordberga Sugar Mill in now online. To be completed later on with the surrounding buildings such as the director's house, fire station and worker's housing. Also need to do some further research.

The Great Highslide Implementation continues

Stripa Mine and Stora Vika cement mill have now been Highslidified and all the pics reworked (not that anyone besides me would notice).

Highslide implemented

Reworked the Fredriksberg Paper Mill album using the fantastic Highslide JS script and also touched up a chunk of the high resolution versions. Some refinement still needs to be done and will in time use Highslide on all of ASKA as soon as time allows.

Nyhamn Sulfite Mill online

Reekingly fresh! After completely reworking the pics originally posted on my Flickr plus touching up the navigation a tad bit I finally got this album together. The research has just started though.

Stripa Mine hits the surface

My first serious foray into the world of faux B&W. Reworked these pics from the mine's bottom to headframe roof top more than twice.

ASKA is back!

After many years on ice ASKA is now back! Just like when the site was launched in 1999 it'll be a home for my abandoned and – in time – industrial photography. The albums will be connected with my main account on Flickr and most likely very little will be shown here that's not already on Flickr. Flickr sure has its pros but also some cons that made me start up this site again, besides the fun of running a place of my own.
