[EN] During the late 60s the housing area "The Fortress" was constructed in community of Olofström in Blekinge, southern Sweden. Its name comes from the square placement of the four buildings with a common ground in the middle. By the late 90s two of the structures were demolished, another made into student housing and the last one was for a while used by Volvo IT, the social department and as immigrant housing. At the time of our visit in May 2009 it had been abandoned for about five years and was badly vandalized. The asbestos decontamination had just begun but the crew let us take a look inside.
