A rural manor house built in the first half of the 18th century on an estate with records dating back to the 1300s.
The herrenhaus we see today was established in the early 19th century when a wing and the tower was added. The farm buildings were constructed in the 1920s when one of Germany's leading stud farms was located here. Remains of the nearby race course can be seen to this day. After the second world war the manor accommodated a school and later on a children's home that closed in 2003.
Today the main house is privately owned and partly in use.
