The community of Lesjöfors in Värmland has almost 400 years of industrial history in its foundations. Though only a trickle remains to this day the very renowned Lesjöfors fjädrar is still around and very much alive. A business that sprang (sorry) from the company Lesjöfors AB that went bankrupt in 1985. Photographed here is the former wire production, halls and surroundings of the defunct mother company.
The region is scenic and if you're i the area I recommend a visit to the Lesjöfors museum. It's a very well crafted treat with a taste of the olden days.
